Rural Municipality of Wellington

The Rural Municipality of Wellington No. 97 was incorporated December 13, 1909 and organized into nine townships with six divisions. On September 27, 1996 the RM’s nine townships were re-organized into four divisions. Located 13km north of the City of Weyburn on Hwy 35, agriculture is the Municipality’s predominant industry. Within its’ borders a patron ran community pasture encompasses 161 quarters of land. The RM’s office and municipal shop are located in the Hamlet of Cedoux.
