Effective Thursday March 14th at midnight, the RM of Wellington will be implementing Spring Road Bans. The weights allowed on our roads are specified below.
o The maximum load on steering axles is 10 kg per millimetre (550 lbs per inch) width of tire (manufacturer’s stamped dimensions), to a maximum of
- 5,500 kg on the steering axle for a truck equipped with a single steering axle
- 11,000 kg on the steering axle group for a truck equipped with a tandem axle steering group
o Maximum loads on all other wheels will be limited to 6.25 kg/mm (350 lbs per inch) width of tire to a maximum loading of 1650 kg per wheel (3,638 lb.)
